Born and raised in Victoria. Growing up in a family of scavengers I lived for hand me downs. Now I’m stoked to be able to share the pieces I’ve found over the years and hope they’ll ignite some sass and sweet nostalgia.

My name is Szandi (Sandi) Szabo and I am the owner and operator of Csinos Vintage (Chee/nosh). 
I created Csinos to bring you curated pieces that fit your unique lifestyle and help you feel confident and inspired. There is an intimacy with keeping or choosing a piece of clothing. It can awaken our ever-changing personalities, moods, and bodies. Witnessing how each person will bring life to our pieces in such a distinctive way adds to my experience. This is what inspires me most to sell vintage, its ability to take you back and forth in time. I love that you can involve so many senses just by engaging with texture and print and that you can get lost and be found all at once.
The Hungarian word Csinos, to me, embodies a good vibration ... the mood when you get together with your friends and say, “you look goooood/csinos!”
It is also really important to me to build a nourishing, sustainable and safe space where we learn and pass on the stories of the pieces. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to merge my love for culture and art through vintage.
